Soap & Glory’s Ups It Spa-Worthy Supply of Beauty Buys

When it comes to self-care (which I think we all need more of), sometimes all it takes to soothe yourself is a spa-worthy shower or a super indulgent soak in the tub. Soap & Glory is enhancing the experience with a stockpile of bubbling bath and beauty buys — complete with punny names you won’t get enough of — that won’t break the bank. In fact, the bubbles kept popping up Wednesday night as editors were treated to a first look at all of the upcoming products with a fresh array of fizzy cocktails, a shower outfitted with a bubble machine, a few faucets that dispensed a mix of seltzer and champagne (really refreshing!), and a cute clawfoot tub that I couldn’t help but slip into myself.

The brand its bolstering its bath lineup with mega-moisturizing ingredients and a serious splash of sparkle that comes courtesy of its own bath bomb (finally!). Called the Fizz-a-Ball, it infuses the water with effervescent bubbles while turning the water shimmery and comes in three sweet scents: Original Pink (rose and bergamot), Smoothie Star (vanilla musk), and Sugar Crush (sweet lime). And speaking of sweet lime, its the scent you’ll sniff in the new Sugar Crush 3-in-1 Creamy Body Wash that allows you to scrub up, shave, and soften your skin all at once — I’ve already placed in it my shower for when I’m ready to show off more skin. But if you’re worried about your skin shriveling up because of the dry weather, it’s also unleashing a creamy Whipped Clean Shower Butter that’s formulated with over 25% moisture oils and butter to keep skin soft and supple. And if you have a few dry patches giving you problems, you can dab Soap & Glory’s new Melty Talented coconut oil-infused balm that melts into an oil on contact to quench the thirsty deeper layers of skin.

And the skin worship doesn’t stop there, as it’s formed its own task  Mask Force with five formulas for a slew of skin concerns, including patches for puffy eyes, sheet masks to refine and brighten skin, a peel-off to purify pores, and a hydrogel to deliver an extra dose of hydration. There’s also Bright and Pearly, a new brightening serum infused with Vitamins A, C, E, to even tone with its Luminospheres add instant radiance that you can wear alone or under makeup for that #IWokeUpLikeThis look that’s slated to hit shelves soon (although there’s no word yet as to when).

As for its makeup musts, the brand is introducing a new palette, She’s A Natural, outfitted with everything you need to take your look from desk to drinks. Formulated to last up to 12 hours, it includes three neutral shadows along with a light-deflecting bronzer, a smoothing highlighter, and even a coral blush to help you bump up your look when you’re on the go.

But the brand’s biggest focus for 2018  is the lips with a line of tinted lip balms in three peachy hues that smell just like the stone fruit and will make lips feel just as lush. Building out beyond is signature plumping glosses, it’s offering an easy, alternative to achieve a plush pout. The Pout-Standing Double-Ended Lip Contouring Crayon comes in four neutral shades and features a matte formula to help outline your lips and shade in the corners while the shiny side fills the rest to create the effect. And to keep the metallic makeup mania going, which saw some serious shine on the red carpet towards the end of 2017, there’s the Spectaculips Matte-Allic Lip Cream hitting shelves soon (though there’s no date for it either) that goes on light like a lip gloss, stays put for up to 12 hours, and comes in a gold, rose gold and bronzy brown hue.
