Here’s How To Get Your Hands on Free Too Faced Mascara Today!

Photo via TooFaced.com

If Beyoncé’s veritable takeover of Coachella hasn’t prompted you to try a flurry of glitter-encrusted festival looks, a new deal from Too Faced just might. And don’t worry; you won’t even to have to leave home to snag it.

According to the brand’s site, when you spend $55 or more, “the ultimate mascara & remover kit” will automatically be added to your cart. The kit includes the ever-popular and slightly scandalous Better Than Sex Mascara as well as its waterproof counterpart for lashes that look long, lush, and lust-worthy. But that’s not all, as the kit also contains the brand’s Mascara Melt Off, an oil-based formula to remove even the strongest waterproof formula and infused with Rice Extract and Green Tea to condition and protect lashes from irritation when you take off your makeup at the end of the day. Plus the mini-sizes make it super easy to touch up — or take it all off —  on the go!

Since there’s no word when the offer will end, according to HYPEBAE, now’s the time to stock up on our spring beauty arsenals. After all, scoring a plethora of products that would normally cost $63 (for the full-sized version) is a damn good deal to snap up while you can!

Lady Gaga’s Stylist Launches Line With Ikea to Make Your Space Look Glamorous — And I Want Everything!

via Ikea.com

You may not know Bea Åkerlund, but you’ve definitely seen her work before. The fashion activist and costume designer has added her decadent touch to create some of the most memorable looks of our favorite stars. We’re talking Beyoncé‘s iconic Lemonade-yellow dress from the “Hold Up” video (as well as half of the clips from her eponymous visual album); Madonna‘s Mark-Antony-meets-Cleopatra-inspired ensemble for her 2012 Super Bowl Halftime Show; Katy Perry’s Katy Kat CoverGirl collection commercial (and her Harper’s Bazaar Icons NYFW performance that I got to witness first-hand ); and even Lady Gaga‘s eye-popping “Paparazzi” video.

But now the stylist is adding her signature blend of gothic glamor not to your wardrobe but everywhere else in your apartment with an exclusive Ikea collection that is not only Instagrammable but also brings a bit of the red carpet home with you. Called OMEDELBAR (which is “immediate” in Swedish), the collection features home accents and accessories, like a gilded clothing rack and valet stand to put your prettiest pieces on display as well as a Birkin-inspired lighting fixture, all designed to allow you to get imaginative with your interiors and transform your space into the decadent dressing room of your dreams.

“’B. WHO YOU ARE’ is about embracing yourself, no matter what the world thinks of you. It’s about individuality and creativity – two important cornerstones of OMEDELBAR,” she said of the collection in a press release.

While the collection hit shelves on February 14th — yup, while we were drowning in red hearts, lipstick, chocolate, and all things amoré — the great thing is that everything is very affordable. The most expensive pieces are the armchair, the ottoman, and the clothes rack, which are priced at $249 and $129, respectively. Not to mention that the collection is available for purchase at almost all locations, save for IKEA Grand Prairie or IKEA Jacksonville.

And as much as I want to snap up everything, regardless of the lack of room in my house, I decided to sift through everything to narrow down it down to a few favorites I’m planning to purchase before everything disappears. Read more to see what I’m adding to my shopping list.

#OnMyVanity: KKW’s Crystal Gardenia Perfume

I receive a slew of samples, and when I find something I like, I can’t wait to tell you all about it!

Let’s face it: In the past 10 years, the Kardashians have gone from just a reality TV show family to a veritable empire, with the sisters banning together for a flurry of early collaborations — remember their Nicole by OPI polish range? — and eventually branching out into each of their own brands. While Kylie has a huge hold on beauty in recent years, she definitely scored her business acumen from big sister Kim, who’s been in the beauty biz for longer than many might remember.

GTL: The Boldest Beauty Looks of the 2016 Met Gala

GTL – Get the Look, not Gym, Tan, Laundry, duh!

When this year’s  Met Gala theme, “Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology,” was announced, I instantly had visions of cyberpunk pretty — sharp slashes of eyeliner, manicures using bits of motherboards, and cascades of chrome. While most played it safe this year, letting their custom glittering gowns (crafted with the latest technology) do all of the talking, I was psyched to see many stars embracing the theme fully and stepping out of their regular red carpet glamor routine. I got the details on how to recreate the looks straight from the hairstylists and makeup artist to ensure you stand out at the next social gathering on your calendar.

Spring Hairstyle Tips Straight from the Salon Chair

spring-hair-dvf

After a warm winter and a chilly start to spring, now’s finally the time to let your hair down and try something new. But test-driving some of the top hair trends for the season can easily end in disaster, so I turned to celeb stylists Gabriel Samra and Kim Kimble (prior to the Lemonade premiere this weekend where she worked her magic throughout) for their top tips to ensure your hair looks and feels healthy—no matter what hairstyle you select.

Keep Hair Hydrated — This applies regardless of the time of year. While April showers bring on plenty of frizz, it’s likely because your strands are thirsty, causing them to try and absorb the added moisture in the air. Kimble notes that repairing the damage after a season of heat styling is key to keeping frizz at bay. To keep hair soft and moisturized during warmer months, use Pantene’s Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner, which also keeps hair healthy because it prevents damage before it begins,” she recommended. “The new conditioner formula contains new technology that helps repair and prevent damage at the root for longer, stronger, healthier hair.”

Work with Your Natural Texture — Effortless hair has been a trend for a few seasons, so you can save your pennies from your regularly scheduled blowout and still look stylish. “Over the past two years, we saw extremes. We saw very sleek and then very messy, and now this is a fusion of the two,” Samra explained. He advised using 1 to 2 day-old hair, as “it has some of its natural oils to help with providing the desired textured look,” and can hold a curl or bend in the hair better if you’re looking to enhance your natural texture with heat.

Don’t Fret Over Frizz — I know it sounds counterintuitive, but most stylists nowadays are letting the frizz fly for more natural, effortless appeal. Both stylists recommended using a light hairspray like Pantene’s Smooth Anti-Humidity Airspray to set the style without feeling stiff or sticky. Kimble added, “Use this product to refresh your style throughout the day without worrying about product buildup or residue for a soft, touchable look.”
